Are you a passionate and skilled Chef looking for an exciting opportunity in Ithaca, New York? We currently seeking a visionary vegetarian chef to take the helm at Moosewood Restaurant. We are dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience for our beloved patrons, many of whom travel across oceans to dine with us. If you have a drive to become an award-winning vegetarian chef, with expert experience in plant-based menus, excellent team management, and the ability to do 400 covers a night, we'd love to hear from you. In 2025 we have high ambitions: to win a James Beard Award, finish a cookbook, and serve of 80,000 guests creative and memorable meals. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, with expertise in macrobioitc, vegetarian, and plant-based cooking techniques. Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work expertly and inspire others to rise up in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for this role.The Finger Lakes is the Napa of New York State, with an exciting viniculture and dozens of organic farmers and it will be part of your job to collaborate and foster relationships with local farmers and vineyards.
